 Post subject: jacking strut

borrowed m mans wheel strut stupid qustion but it looks to me that you have to tie it up in place be fore reversing back on to it holding it in place is a no no :? :?

You shouldn't need to. Place the large end on the radial arm and line the other end up with a track sprocket hole. Then drive backwards slowly. Once the end drops into the gap in the track it sorts itself out. Useful to have a second person as observer.

it all fits now i was trying to put the strut in the wrong way
