It was a prototype, they did not make many. I believe there was a radio controlled version. Basically its a cut down Spartan.

If you look in the vehicle register you will see Andrew owns the only running Streaker . they were a load carrier/ Bar mine layer prototype , theres a pic of it if you want a look . They were a totally new build not a cut down spartan apparently .

Hi,
They don't own a Salamander. Not yet anyway.

Just add a peice of 3" Rigid PVC coduit to the end of a Scorpion gun you have a Salamander. Although I can't see any referance to the Sturgeon varient of the CVRT (Spartian with Milan Compact turret withdrawn, but used at BATUS for Training)

I thought Salamander was based on the Stolly chasis and was the fire crash truck :!:

They renamed the Scorpion as the Salamander when they fitted the big boys laser tag systems for playing OPFOR at BATUS they used to have two oil drums welded together and mounted on the back of the hull to make them look more like Russian vehicles but they had a habit of falling of and there was an accident while welding two drums together which broke a metal smiths leg so they were dropped.

The other vehicle they use is the Sturgeon which is basicaly a Spartian with the Milan compact turret with the Milan tubes removed which is supposed to resemble the BMP. There's a picture of one in the Scorpion forum under Scorpions still in service? it's right behind the Salamander.
