Can someone kindly post a photo or the dimensions of the stowage box for the MG ammo behind the gunners seat in the turret bustle

I need to make a replica, alternatively I could derive the measurements if someone would kindly confirm how many ammo boxes it contains - 3 as on the commander's side or only 2?

Sorry don't have the dim's infact I'm still looking for a set myself,
but I do know the Gunners one is the same Depth and Width as the
Commanders ammo box but is slightly Higher as it does not need to
fit under a periscope.

Its also not bolted down hard to the Turret floor, but has rubber spacers
about a inch or two long.

If I get a set or more info, I'll pass it on.

I forgot to ask about the attachment as its obviously not the same as the other side. do you mean there is one bolt thru the rubber to attach rubber to turret and another bolt to attach rubber to bin?

wonder why they made it so complex? if the ammo on the commanders side can survive the bashing why can't the gunners!

Not rubber. The boxes sit on metal spacer rings, I think they are approx 1/2". If I get time on Sunday when I'm at the farm I'll take some better photos of the one in our Fox. All I can find is these...

thanks Guys - very useful
had not realised the gunners side is much taller,
does it take 3 can and 1 across the top? But surely that one would fall out there being only 1 strap still?

As far as I remember the the boxes stowed behind the gunner had the 7.62mm boxes in on there ends, and contained four boxes. Most of our foxes had the gunners boxes removed and mountings for a 351 installed instead.
